About me and my therapy practice

Counselling can be the support you need at the moment to improve your life.

When you are feeling anxious, alone, overwhelmed or confused about parenthood, work, a bereavement or other life experiences or relationships, I can offer Face to Face, zoom or phone counselling to explore this.

I will understand you, that life might be very hard and would like to hear about your experiences of your panic attack(s), anxiety, grief, depression or burn out.

I am based in Hove and Haywards Heath and as an Integrative counsellor and work from comfortable, welcoming rooms. I am furthermore qualified and experienced to meet you online and by phone.

Prior to training as a counsellor years ago, I worked in corporate environments in the UK and abroad. Together with my counselling training and life experiences, my previous careers informs my open minded and accepting approach.

As an Integrative Counsellor I draw on a wide range of tools and approaches including CBT, person centred and psychodynamic. This means I can accommodate your unique needs and preferences. We can discuss this all during a free assessment.

Practice description

You might be struggling with anxiety, panick attack(s), depression or burn out. Its often hard to make sense of relationships at work or private life, feel worried, lost, unsettled or have suffered loss. Traumatic events might impact your every day life. I can offer you a confidential, calming, friendly and understanding space to talk about this.

The idea of counselling can be scary and confusing sometimes, especially if you are new to it. I can offer you a free 20 minutes chat to discuss things. Then, if it feels right, we can schedule for a few sessions to get more of a feel for the process or you might want a longer term plan.

I offer a trustworthy counselling relationship and provide you with an environment and approach which suits your needs. I will explain and review the process as we go along. This includes conversations about the amount of counselling sessions you want to have and the expectations you might hold about what counselling could mean for you.

I am a registered member with the BACP which means I adhere to their Ethical Professional Standard. Find more information about this here: https://www.bacp.co.uk/events-and-resources/ethics-and-standards/
