About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I provide a supportive, intuitive approach to therapy. I hold a person centered, humanistic and holistic outlook, I have both experience and training in working with trauma.
My intention is for us to work together to establish day to day coping strategies as well as exploring underlying issues.
As we gain deeper understanding of ourselves and our life experience, we feel better able to cope with life's challenges, enabling us to live more fully, feel more at ease and make decisions that feel right for us.
You may be looking for short term counselling or longer term support, you may have a particular issue you'd like to explore or be struggling with a general sense of overwhelm or anxiety.
We start with where you are now and find a way forward …
Practice description
Flexible approach
I will offer ways of working that feel effective and appropriate for you, from establishing day to day coping strategies to deeper explorations.
Being Heard
Simply talking, being heard and having the freedom to explore your thoughts and feelings in a calm, confidential space, can be a healing, transformative experience.
Body Focused Therapy
I often invite 'felt sense', this is simply noticing how the body feels. This increased self awareness provides deeper understanding of our emotions and thoughts, integrating our experience of the body into the therapeutic process. Body awareness helps us to remain in the present, giving us a firm, safe base from which to explore more deeply if we wish.
Mindfulness and Relaxation
Techniques for relaxation and mindfulness not only help alleviate the symptoms of stress but allow us to see things more clearly and as such can be useful in supporting a counselling session.
Creative Expression
If you find it hard to put what you’re thinking & feeling into words or prefer to explore & reflect creatively, we can also use drawing, writing, sand-tray & story cards.

About me and my therapy practice
As a relational, integrative supervisor with person centred at core, I offer a collaborative, supportive and reflective space for you to explore your work.
The supervisory relationship provides a safe space to reflect on client work, consider ethical and safeguarding issues, develop our ways of working and to share the joys as well as the challenges.
As well as being an independent practitioner, I'm a supervisor for 'The Womens Centre Cornwall' and have worked with the young persons counselling service, TOR Support, for many years, providing me with experience of safe guarding and working within agency.
I have particular interest in integrating bodywork and mindfulness into therapy and have been holding yoga and meditation groups for over twenty years.
I work from the Kensey Centre in Launceston, the Tavistock Therapy Centre in Tavistock and online.
Please take a look at my website, www.counsellingforall.life for further information about my practice.
