People often come to me when they aren’t managing to keep things together like they usually do. Maybe you lost someone, or something’s tipped you over an edge. You know things can’t go on like this.
You might be experiencing shame, anxiety, or loss. Or perhaps something’s off in your sense of self, your closest relationships, your decision-making at work.
You might need some time to find your equilibrium. But you also need time and space to unpack what’s going on with you, and to begin to find out what you want… and perhaps a way to try something new.
This is the work I love to do. If any of the above rings true, get in touch. I'd love to hear more about your situation and to think about whether I might be able to help.
Practice description
I listen for what matters and keep an open mind for where we might need to go next. There's no manual for this kind of work: I aim to stay alive to everything you bring, to help you experience your life more fully, and at times to offer a different perspective. My goal is to be active in helping you become more in charge of your own life.
I usually meet people once a week, for 50 minutes, without a predetermined end point.

I love to work with people who are trying to find their way, especially when your life, or your perspective on it, undergoes a change.
I am also interested in working with men; ex-boarders; and with difficult organisational experiences.
I think we're all trying to move forward in life: to do that it can help to spend some time noticing where you are right now.

My first session
For a first session my focus is on understanding more about you - what has brought you to therapy, and the outlines of your life so far.
It's also a chance for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether you would like to work together.
Therapy is a very personal relationship so it's right to be able to experience it before making a commitment. For that reason I charge a reduced rate for first sessions.
