About me and my therapy practice

I love to work with people who are trying to find their way, especially when your life, or your perspective on it, undergoes a change.

I am also interested in working with men; ex-boarders; and with difficult organisational experiences. I work with both individuals and groups and organisations.

I think we're all trying to move forward in life: to do that it can help to spend some time noticing where you are right now.

If any of the above rings true, please do get in touch: I'd love to hear more about your situation and to think about whether I might be able to help.

Practice description

I listen for what matters and keep an open mind for where we might need to go next. There's no manual for this kind of work: I aim to stay alive to everything you bring, to help you experience your life more fully, and at times to offer a different perspective. My goal is to be active in helping you become more in charge of your own life.

I usually meet people once a week, for 50 minutes, without a predetermined end point.

My first session

For a first session my focus is on understanding more about you - what has brought you to therapy, and the outlines of your life so far.

It's also a chance for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether you would like to work together.

Therapy is a very personal relationship so it's right to be able to experience it before making a commitment. For that reason I charge a reduced rate for first sessions.
