I believe that when given the best circumstances, each one of us can live a happy, fulfilled life. I also believe that at times life puts barriers in our way that prevents people from achieving this, when that happens, it can be hard to put things into perspective and to trust in our own ability on how to manage this and move forward.
My way of working is to acknowledge that fundamentally, people know what is best for them, but the unexpected challenges we face can cloud our judgement and the ability to face them head on. I am passionate about facilitating a safe space to support others to identify their own solutions and implement positive changes.
I work alongside people whether this is short term or longer term. I am an integrative counsellor, I incorporate a number of therapeutic modalities, while maintaining a client centred approach. This means that I place the client and counsellor relationship at the heart of my practise. As a counsellor I offer you my honesty and respect, and enable you to feel empowered to explore solutions to any issues you may face, past or present, within a supportive environment.
