About me and my therapy practice
I have been counselling since 2007, offering Person-Centred counselling for adults and children from the age of 13, to manage some of the stresses and strains that occur in everyday life.
I can offer you a safe and private environment to share your feelings and anxieties without any expectations or judgements.
As well as bringing empathy, respect and honesty to our sessions, I also offer a vast amount of personal knowledge and experience in the shape of 16 years of counselling (including bereavement, anxiety and depression) being a foster carer for over 15 years, a mother of four healthy grown children and having a Masters degree in Social Work.
I passionately believe that nature and the outdoors can have a vastly positive effect on our mental wellbeing. So can also offer ‘walk & talk’ therapy, which can be more comfortable for some people as opposed to sitting together face to face.
