About me and my therapy practice
I'm Thomas Bell, and I'm a person centred counsellor. I work with people online or via the phone within the UK or internationally.
Before training to become a counsellor, I served in the Royal Navy, which was a big part of my journey towards eventually becoming a counsellor and gaining a Degree in counselling.
Alongside my work as a Counsellor, I previously worked as the manager of a Bereavement and End of Life support service for a local charity.
I am passionate about making mental health support more accessible and as part of this I attend local steering groups aimed at improving access to bereavement & end of life emotional support in my area.
I also work alongside a number of charities helping them to provide low/no cost counselling to those in need.
I aim to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or just feeling a bit lost, I'm here to help you navigate life's challenges and find your way forward.
My approach to therapy is all about putting you, the client, front and centre. I'm here to listen, to offer empathy and understanding, and to help you tap into your own inner resources. I don't judge or offer advice - I'm here to support you as you explore your own thoughts and feelings.
I truly believe that everyone has the power to make positive changes in their lives, and that's what drives me in my work. Whether you're looking to manage stress, improve your relationships, or gain more self-confidence, I'm here to help you make it happen.
So, if you're looking for a friendly and supportive counsellor who can help you find your way forward, I'd love to chat with you! Let's connect and see how we can work together to help you live your best life.
