About me and my therapy practice
Welcome!
Everyone experiences life differently. Whatever brings you to counselling, whatever you want to explore or want help with; whether it be anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, grief, low self-esteem or trauma, I believe counselling can help navigate life's challenges.
Counselling provides an opportunity to speak in confidence, exploring your experiences and feelings.
Our work will always start by establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship in which you will feel listened-to and supported.
I offer a friendly confidential space where you’ll be treated with respect, empathy and acceptance; a safe non-judgemental place to explore your experiences and feelings.
Rather than my offering advice, we’ll work together. I'll be alongside, supporting you - helping you to make choices and changes and looking for your best way forward.
For you, it'll be a safe non-judgemental space to talk, be heard and feel accepted.

As a Humanistic integrative counsellor, I work in a predominantly person-centred way.

As a registered member of the BACP, I adhere to their Ethical Framework, am fully qualified, insured & supervised and undertake continuous professional development.
I have an Advanced Certificate in Couples Therapy.
In addition to my private practice, I volunteer for a local counselling charity and Cruse Bereavement Support.

If you're interested in counselling, contact me by text or email - I should get back to you within one working day. I normally suggest a 15-minute chat to help you decide if you'd like to go ahead. If you decide to go ahead, our first counselling session will give you the opportunity to explore the reasons for coming to counselling in more depth. We'll take it from there, at your pace.
