About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling a bit down and you don't know why, or facing problems that just seem too big - at work, at home or in your relationships, or perhaps you've just lost your way and can't seem to get back on the right track? If any of this sounds like you, then I can help.
I work with individuals and couples in my counselling rooms in Leominster, as well as online via video.
Counselling can be a life-changing experience, and that's what I aim for with all my clients. If you're not sure whether or not it's for you, then book a FREE Initial Consultation, and we can have a chat. I look forward to working with you.
Practice description
I am an experienced counsellor, working with both individuals and couples, with a passion for helping people deal with the difficulties that life throws at us. I've got experience of working with clients aged from 13 upwards and I bring my own long experience of life - as a parent, a partner, in the workplace and as a human being - to help me help you.
I understand that starting (or restarting) counselling can be scary and you may have many questions and doubts. My free initial telephone consultation will help answer those questions and put you at ease, so that you can make an informed decision.

Whether you're just feeling a bit down and you don't know why, or you're facing problems that just seem too big - at work, at home or in your relationships, or perhaps you've just lost your way and can't seem to get back on the right track, then I can help.
Counselling can be a life-changing experience, and that's what I aim for with all my clients.

Practice description
You many already know a lot about counselling, you may have seen counselling taking place on the television, you may have read books about it, or you may know nothing at all. If you're curious about what counselling is and how it works, then please read on. The professional body of which I am a registered member, the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) says that:
"Therapy provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk to a trained professional about your issues and concerns. Your therapist will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others."
And that is a perfect description of what I do. As a Person-Centred counsellor, I leave it up to you to choose the direction of the therapy, I won't offer you my opinions or make suggestions as to what you should do, but I will help you find your own solutions to issues you're facing. I'm not a doctor so I won't prescribe medication, nor will I give you a 'diagnosis'. The BACP website contains lots of really useful information about what counselling is, and what it isn't, and what to expect. Have a look at their 'What is Counselling' page, you might find it helpful.
