Hello, I’m Amanda, Counsellor, Psychotherapist, yoga teacher, and holistic therapist. I offer counselling to individuals for a wide range of *emotional *relationship *self-esteem *trauma *identity- related issues.
I work in a pluralistic way blending a diverse range of psychotherapies which means that I am adaptable in my approach. I seek to truly understand you and deliver a highly customised form of therapy to meet your unique needs and aspirations.
At the heart of my approach is developing a safe and trusting relationship with you. We go at your pace, allowing space for feelings to emerge and our understanding to grow. As trust deepens and patterns become visible, we find the most effective pathway through therapy.

Person-centred therapy – Respects you are the expert on your life, helping you open up as much as you are comfortable to, and creating the right therapeutic conditions for you to reconnect with your true self and activate your potential.
Experiential therapy – Taps into your innate body felt knowing, giving you profound clarity on what you truly want or feel, and deeper connection to intuition, decision-making capabilities, and creative problem-solving.
Emotionally-focused therapy for individuals (EFIT) – Focuses on your emotions to reshape love or secure attachment, gently helping you overcome fear, heal trauma, and develop meaningful, lasting relationships.
Internal family systems therapy (IFS) – Attends to the complex system of inner parts or families within you, helping you resolve the tug-of-war in your mind, heal trauma, and rediscover your natural calm, creativity and clarity.
Inner Child therapy – Connects with the childlike aspects within you, helping you tend unmet childhood needs, heal emotional hurt, and reawaken your creativity and joy.
Psychodynamic therapy – Focuses on the unconscious motivations behind your present feelings and behaviours, helping you untangle from the past, gain insight, and reclaim your authenticity, intentionality, and purpose.
Coherence therapy – Unlocks the ‘emotional’ brain, helping you dispel unwanted feelings, thoughts and behaviours that seem entrenched and impossible to break.
We may bring storytelling, writing, art, drawing, photographs, mindfulness or breathwork into our work – or simply talk. The sessions are at your pace and what you feel comfortable with accordingly.
