About me and my therapy practice
I work in a person-centred approach, I provide face to face session in Guildford, Surrey and offer online therapy across Hampshire, and I also provide remote sessions via Telephone, Teams and Zoom. I have experience in working with Domestic Abuse, Substance Misuse and General day to day life challenges such as anxiety, stress and providing you a safe space to navigate your life in a way that feels suitable for you, in a non-directive way.
I provide long term and short term therapy. Short term therapy consists of 12 counselling sessions- using Solution-Focused Therapy along side Person-Centred Approach. I will go through half-way review with you just to check-in on what is working and what you're finding helpful in our sessions and anything that may not useful or effective in the sessions. This allows an honest and trustworthy relationship between us.
The aim is to empower you to better understand yourself, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a life that feels fulfilling and authentic. `I believe in meeting individuals where they are and collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs and goals. I have professional experience gained through from working within the National Health Services (NHS) and other charities and organisations - currently undergoing a further professional development in PCE CFD- counselling for depression.
When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, listening to Podcasts, walking my dog which helps in my self-care and remaining grounded, and not forgetting family time and connected to the joys of life, even though sometimes it's hard to find the glimmers. Whether you're looking for support through a difficult time or seeking personal growth, I'm here to walk alongside you on your journey.
