Hi there, my name is Annabel. I am an integrative Psychotherapist/Counsellor based in Bradford and Leeds as well as working online and telephone.
In my practice I will offer you a non-judgemental safe and supportive space where you are believed, respected, understood and valued, where I aim to provide you with the space for growth.
Life can be quite challenging in so many ways I understand this because I have worked with diverse people in various settings such as sexual health, HIV/AIDS social support, rape and sexual violence, bereavement, counselling children and young people with various challenges, children and young people in care, supporting adults who have been through adoption or in care, LGBT communities, asylum seeking people and refugees. My counselling approach facilitates self-awareness and emotional healing at a pace that feels right for you because ultimately you are the expert of your life.
I am a registered member of BAATN which is The Black African and Asian Therapy Network. This means I value, recognise and acknowledge the impact of different cultures on my client’s life experiences. Being a member of BAATN means I continue to widen and deepen my awareness in order for me to practise as a culturally competent therapist.
