About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome! Thank you for clicking my profile.

Whether you're new to counselling or have had it in the past, looking for a counsellor can feel very overwhelming. I'll try to explain how I work as best as I can here, however please contact me directly if you have any questions.

My areas of specialist interest are:

Anxiety

Bereavement and Grief

Panic Attacks

Negative Thinking Patterns

Stress and Worry

I am a qualified counsellor working with children, young people and adults. I offer appointments online and over the phone. I can work with you on a short or long term basis dependent on your theraputic needs. I have a wide range of theraputic skills and training (list below) which are all underpinned by a confidential, non judgemental and empathetic space for us to work together to help you process your emotions and explore new ways of being.

Sadness, low mood, low self esteem, a lack of self confidence and anxiety are just some of the more difficult aspects of the ebb and flow of life, however when they start to affect your wellbeing and daily routine, they can feel like the heaviest burden. You may have found that the pandemic has meant reliving old habits, routines and upsetting thoughts. There is no shame in finding things difficult, and by looking for a counsellor you have taken a positive step towards helping yourself go in the direction you want to.

Let me know if you have any questions,

Izzy
