About me and my therapy practice
I believe that everyone has the ability to find answers within themselves.
My practice is characterised by creativity, utilising techniques such as sand tray work, art, fairy tales, and metaphors. Importantly, you don’t need to be an artist to engage in this creative process.
I will offer a warm friendly space, a comfy sofa and a cuppa for you to relax, so if talking is your thing, then we can do that to.
There is no pressure to be creative in our sessions, its just another way of expressing and exploring our feelings.
Practice description
I love to work in a creative way, utilizing sand trays, art, fairy tales, metaphors and other mediums - you don't need to be good at art to work creatively, just be open to exploration and self expression.
Working with children and young people often means that they don't have the words to explain their feelings. This is where creative counselling comes in. By using art supplies, toys, games or play, so much can be expressed, in a safe and comfortable environment.
This approach is suitable for both adults children and young people. I have experience of working with Autism and ADHD.
If you are ready to embark on a creative journey, please get in touch.
I also offer traditional talking therapy should that be your requirement.
My first session
Our first session would be a 15 free minute consultation to consider how I work and ensure we are a good fit for each other. This session will include looking at any assessment needs and collecting the relevant information required.
After this, you will be able to book your first session either online or face to face.
