About me and my therapy practice
Are you overwhelmed, stressed or anxious?
Are you feeling down, depressed or hopeless?
Are your relationships impacted from how you are feeling?
Do you struggle controlling your anger?
Maybe you have an inability to believe in your self-worth.
Perhaps you struggle on a day to day basis and find it hard to cope.
Or perhaps you're just feeling sad?
If you answered yes to these questions it's likely you're seeking support.
I will support and encourage you and your process throughout your counselling sessions, whilst providing a non-judgemental and confidential safe space.
I have experience of working with individuals who are struggling with Anxiety and depression, low-self esteem and low self-worth. Individual's who are struggling with relationship issues and those who struggle to control their anger. These are just a few of the issues I have supported individuals with.
Practice description
I am a MBACP registered Counsellor. I have a BA Hons in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have dedicated the past few years to supporting those in need.
Working as a Counsellor allows me to walk alongside and support you in your time of need, often when you are most alone and vulnerable, whilst I remain non-judgemental of your circumstances.
I have experience of Counselling in my Private Counselling Practice, Women's centres and Voluntary agencies, and within a domestic violence centre.
I have worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.
I will offer a safe non-judgemental space for you to address any problems you have, along with holding the space for you to address problems that you may find hard to talk about.
All sessions are confidential, and all Counselling sessions are tailored to your needs and accessibility.
Seeking help is often extremely difficult, you've taken the first step. Let's get talking.
My first session
A free no obligation 20-minute initial consultation will happen before therapy takes place. This is for you to decide if you feel you comfortable with working together and for you to decide if I can help your needs.
It is also a time that I will answer any questions, worries or concerns that you may have.
During counselling sessions I will work through issues with you such as depression or anxiety.
Sessions will last for 50minutes and can be on a weekly or fortnightly basis, suitable to your needs.
We will have a working agreement that will be signed before any therapy takes place, along with a client information pack. Within this you will find information on what counselling is, how I will work with you and additional important information.
