About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Aisha I have a Masters degree in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology. I also have a BSc (Hons) in Counselling from University of East London and I am a qualified integrative counsellor and provide counselling for clients aged 14 years old and upwards.
I am also a specialist mentor to university students that require support with, academic organisation, mental wellbeing. Aswell as providing coping strategies due to stress and mental health.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with clients from all walks of life, from family support to mentoring, immigration caseworker, management, and key working.
Often in life, we are told to get on with it or to stop worrying. Does this sound familiar to you? You are not alone. Here at talking souls we are here to listen to your worries and understand that sometimes it is okay not to be okay. Life can bring us to a crossroads and we need to decide which path to follow. Life can bring many challenges that we find difficult to cope with.
Traumas we have experienced in the past can have an impact on our mental health. We can be devastated by loss or bereavement. A family or relationship breakdown can cause stress and financial difficulties. Problems at work, mental and physical health issues, cultural and religious issues can cause anxiety. Depression and isolation, hearing voices, or having suicidal thoughts and gender identity maybe difficult to understand or cope with.
The goal at Talking Souls is to listen to your story. In a safe, confidential setting, we can support and empower your journey of healing by using different modalities and interventions that is tailored to each individual needs. That enables you to gain more awareness of yourself and bring positive changes within your life.
You are valuable and important to us.
