About me and my therapy practice

I am a certified counsellor, supervisor, and training provider with a background in collaborating with the Court system, Sussex Police, domestic abuse support agencies, and victim support agencies. Drawing from my extensive life experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my practice.

Many clients see me as a perceptive, grounded, and approachable counsellor who provides them with a personalised and tailored counselling experience.

Whatever challenges you may be facing - be it anxiety or depression, relationship difficulties, workplace stress, or a journey of self-discovery - I am here to provide support. By assisting you in connecting your thoughts, emotions, and actions with the patterns of responses currently affecting you, we can work together to navigate through your struggles.

Practice description

My therapy approach is tailored to suit your preferences and personality.

As an integrated counsellor, I combine person-centered therapy, transactional analysis, Jungian psychology, and attachment theory. I can incorporate creative tools to assist clients in accessing their deep emotions and processing any pain and trauma that blocks them from achieving their goals. In addition to counselling, I also offer Life coaching to support clients, if they are seeking practical support as well as psychological.

We can begin your sessions by exploring any aspect of your life, whether focusing on your past or present and work towards your personal goals on a short-term or open-ended basis. You have the autonomy to end the sessions whenever you feel ready. My primary aim is to support you and get you to where you feel you need to be.

My first session

I offer a safe and welcoming space for you to relax and freely express yourself.

The venue I work from in Littlehampton is equipped with disabled access, parking, and spacious toilet facilities, and is regularly cleaned . Convenient parking is available outside the building, which is also a short distance from the train station and bus stops.

Additionally, I provide online services for clients who cannot meet in person on Wednesdays, allowing me to reach clients beyond my local area. Those sessions are conducted via Zoom or WhatsApp video calls.

Phone sessions and text communications are also available to all clients as extra support outside our regular meetings.

Following your email registering interest in working with me, I will reply and offer a phone call to book an assessment session with you.

This will give you a chance to get to know more about me and give me a chance to understand what you would like to get out of our collaboration. Having someone that you can connect with, trust, and feel safe working with is of the utmost importance for you. Our first meeting will be a chance for you to explore whatever concerns you and will help you decide whether I am the right counsellor for you.

There is no charge for this initial assessment.
