About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. We all need some help in life and I am here to support you and work with you in any areas causing distress. You are not alone. We can work together to understand you and explore your difficulties. We can strengthen your mental health, using integrative therapy and provide tools to help, all tailored to your individual needs.
I provide warm, empathic, non-judgemental, confidential counselling and walk alongside you on your journey.
You may be a young person or adult experiencing difficulties, or you may be a parent/carer of a young person and feel as if you're struggling to cope. I specialise in counselling young people and adults and would welcome the opportunity to support you at this challenging time.
You may feel anxious, incomplete, under pressure, have low mood, be overwhelmed with thoughts and feelings, or simply feel unable to move forward with your life. We can work together to explore how you can feel 'complete' and understand your feelings.
I am currently providing online (via Google Meet) counselling sessions for young people (age 16+) and adults. This platform is safe and secure.
Please contact me or visit my website and we can discuss how counselling may help. I look forward to speaking with you.
Practice description
I offer:
- A free introductory online session (up to 30 minutes). This is a no obligation session, where you can ask any questions and find out more about the counselling process and if it's right for you.
- Online sessions (via Google Meet). A good, reliable internet connection is required.
In addition to being an Accredited Member of the British Association For Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP (Accred), I have undertaken advanced training in 'counselling children and young people' and trained in 'Walk and Talk' outdoor therapy. I am also a qualified Clinical Supervisor (please see my Supervisor entry for further details).
My experience is primarily in providing online and face-to-face counselling to young people and adults, in educational settings, for the NHS, national charities and through my private practice - Complete Counselling and Supervision.
I use an integrative approach which allows me to tailor the counselling to the individual, and use elements from different counselling approaches, providing a complete counselling service.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is very important to me and I ensure I attend weekly CPD workshops, focusing on mental health areas and difficulties.
