About me and my therapy practice
As a qualified integrative psychotherapist, I offer a warm, safe and supportive space where you can speak freely about whatever is troubling you.
We all face difficult and challenging times in our lives when we can’t seem to find a way forward. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious or depressed, you may be experiencing relationship difficulties or perhaps feel stuck in unhelpful patterns from the past.
Developing a supportive therapeutic relationship with my clients is at the heart of my work. I believe it’s the relationships we forge in life that allow us to grow. I also believe that, however great the challenges we face, we all have it within us to change our experience.
Together we can explore your difficulties so that you can discover and practice new ways of dealing with challenges, change old patterns and begin to move your life closer to the one you would like to be living.
Practice description
I have experience working with a diverse range of issues including anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, depression, relationship difficulties, family issues, bereavement and loss, identity issues, anxiety, loneliness, work issues and childhood abuse.
I have a Master's in Integrative Psychotherapy and an Advanced Diploma in Counselling from the Minster Centre, a leading integrative counselling and psychotherapy training organisation. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their code of ethics.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I have combined humanistic, psychodynamic and attachment theory approaches into my practice. This means I can work with both your early experiences and your current life and relationships. It also means I can draw on the therapeutic approaches that best meet the needs of my client.
I enjoy working with people from a range of backgrounds and welcome diversity in my practice.
