About me and my therapy practice
We all face times in our lives when we feel lost, anxious, and overwhelmed. We may find it hard to get out of bed in the morning, or feel like no-one will understand what we are going through. Sometimes intense memories of a loss or a traumatic event in our past may be hindering us from moving forward, creating painful patterns in our day to day lives. Perhaps we just feel that something is 'off' and sense that we are not living our lives in the most fulfilling and meaningful way possible. I am an experienced Integrative counsellor trained to work with adults and young people, and want to help you find a way forward.
Practice description
I am passionate about supporting people move beyond trauma, and create meaning and satisfaction in their lives. I have seven years experience working with individuals who have experienced serious trauma and abuse, including sexual violence. I offer a deeply empathic and relational space where we can explore together what has brought you to counselling.
My integrative approach includes the warmth of the person-centred relationship, the depth of the psychodynamic therapies, and the pragmatic solution focus of CBT, depending on what you need. I work both short and long term and offer an initial telephone consultation so you can get to know me and ask any questions.
My first session
I offer an initial 20 minute call free of charge, to get a sense if we would like to work together.

About me and my therapy practice
Clinical Supervision is a unique space in which we as therapists can reflect on our case load, receive support and guidance, and be supported to find greater insight and perspective. It works best when we feel safe to explore, guided to achieve greater insight, and challenged to be the best therapist we can be.
With five years experience as a therapist, and over ten years experience in working with people in distress, I have a wide and varied perspective to draw on when supporting you in your client work.
My therapeutic experience involves: working for a variety of national EAP's, a rape Crisis Centre, a homelessness charity, and a long-term counselling service.
I currently work as a Sessional therapist with Priory Wellbeing Centre, Canterbury and also run my own successful Private Practice.
With a challenging yet relational style, I will guide you to find solutions and ways forward with your clients. My practice is empowering and supportive, reflecting my core Integrative training and Humanistic Philosophy.
My first session
An initial 'chemistry meeting' can be useful to find out if we would work well together, and would like to continue. This would be online, for 15-20 minutes and is free of charge.

Practice description
I offer a free initial discussion to decide if we wish to work together. After this then we can meet monthly or fortnightly, as required. I will occasionally meet on an ad-hoc basis, or to fulfil additional supervision requirements, if requested.
I am trained to supervise both individuals and groups - and will work with therapists, coaches, or staff in a people-facing role (such as social workers, nurses, support staff) who feel clinical supervision would be useful to them
