About me and my therapy practice
I am a dedicated Emotion-focused and Person-centred psychotherapist with a specialization in emotional processing. In our sessions, we will be employing your mind, body and emotions so that we can learn what is at the root of your challenges and distress. We will work together towards meaningful and transformative shifts, fostering more fulfilling experiences and authentic expressions of the self.
Balanced emotional processing is a crucial factor in your psychological wellbeing. It is so important because we see and experience the world through the eyes of our emotions. Therefore, when caught in the grip of anxiety or critical thoughts, overwhelmed by feelings, or numbed by their absence, life can become a challenging journey, leaving you feeling bewildered, adrift, and bereft of joy, connection and happiness. However, there is a lot that we can do in learning how to put your emotions to good use. They can truly become an indispensable tool and a great source of information for you. Emotions can help you to reconnect to what truly matters, make you feel grounded as well as prepare you to take some useful actions in various situations. Which means that we will be working towards a balanced, fulfilled and meaningful life in our sessions.
