About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to my practice in Wantage, the birthplace of King Alfred the Great—a place rich with history that resonates with Sigmund Freud’s belief that “our past is manifest in the present.”
In our everyday lives, the challenges we face and the behaviours we struggle with often have deep roots in early experiences. These experiences, particularly within our first relationships, shape us at a time when we are most vulnerable and impressionable. As a result, our responses to life’s difficulties are frequently shaped by patterns laid down in those formative years.
My passion lies in working from a psychodynamic perspective, helping clients explore how past experiences influence present challenges. While my practice is rooted in traditional face-to-face sessions, my approach has grown to incorporate creative methods such as art therapy, play, eco-therapy, and walking in nature. These modalities can offer profound ways to engage with emotions and experiences that words alone may not always capture.
I deeply value working collaboratively with each individual, respecting your autonomy in shaping a therapy experience that feels meaningful to you. Whether through reflective dialogue or creative exploration, my goal is to provide a safe, nurturing space where we can explore your unique journey together.

About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to my practice in Cheltenham Spa, a town celebrated for its world-class racecourse, renowned schools, and as a gateway to the stunning Cotswolds. While Cheltenham often symbolises success and achievement, it’s important to recognise that behind outward success, there can be deeper, more complex layers of experience. When we take a moment to slow down and look beyond the surface, we may discover feelings and challenges that have been waiting for our attention.
Starting counselling can feel overwhelming, and it’s natural to feel uncertain or anxious about taking that first step. My aim is to put you at ease and provide a space of warmth, kindness, and understanding. Whoever you are and whatever you bring, I am here to listen, free from judgment, and support you as we explore the challenges you face.
I work from a psychodynamic therapeutic base, helping you understand how past experiences influence your present life. However, I also embrace a flexible approach, offering both in-session work face-to-face and therapy outdoors in nature. Whether in the office or walking through the natural beauty of the Cotswolds, we can work together in a way that feels most comfortable and freeing for you. I also incorporate creative methods, such as art therapy and play for those who find these forms of expression helpful in processing emotions.
Having worked with adults from all walks of life including business professionals, creatives, and performing artists as well as young people aged 13 and upwards, I tailor each experience to the individual, recognising that every person's journey is unique.
I look forward to walking alongside you as you embark on this path of self-discovery, growth, and healing.

About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to my practice in Summertown, located just 1.2 miles from Oxford, a city celebrated for its academic life and symbolic of growth and development. With roots dating back to the 12th century Oxford embodies the idea that our past influences our present - a concept central to Sigmund Freud’s work, which highlights how early relationships shape who we become.
If you're considering starting therapy, it’s natural to have questions or uncertainties. My approach is centred on providing a space of warmth, kindness, and deep understanding, all within complete confidentiality. Whether you’re looking to explore the roots of current challenges or gain insight into longstanding patterns, I am here to support you with compassion.
My practice is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, helping you explore how past experiences influence present struggles. However, my approach has expanded to include creative methods like art therapy and play, as well as outdoor therapy - taking sessions into nature for those who find that the natural environment helps them process their emotions more freely. Whether we meet face-to-face in session or outdoors in the beautiful surroundings of Oxfordshire, I work collaboratively with you, respecting your autonomy and allowing you to guide the process at your own pace.
I’ve had the privilege of working with adults and young people from all walks of life, including business professionals and creatives, and have experience in mentoring and coaching as well as supporting performing artists.
I look forward to walking with you on your journey of self-discovery and growth, wherever that path may lead.
