I am currently taking on new clients - in-person in London on Tuesdays, and online at other times during the week.

About me and my therapy practice

As a former technology executive turned Psychosynthesis Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I bring unique insight to the intersection of corporate achievement and psychological depth. My approach combines two decades of executive leadership experience with advanced therapeutic training, specializing in working with high-performing professionals navigating complex organizational dynamics, burnout, and transformative change.

While I maintain a select community practice, my primary focus is depth psychological work with executives and leaders. My methodology goes beyond traditional therapy to integrate somatic awareness, organisational dynamics, and leadership psychology. Having personally navigated the challenges of C-suite environments across multiple continents and industries, I understand firsthand the complex interplay between corporate power structures, personal identity, and psychological wellbeing.

My practice offers a sophisticated framework for executives seeking to transform professional challenges into opportunities for deeper understanding and sustainable leadership. Drawing from both my MBA and advanced psychological training, I help leaders recognise how their analytical strengths can become powerful tools for personal insight rather than sources of self-critique.

Sessions provide a confidential space where the unique pressures of executive life can be explored and transformed, moving beyond surface-level stress management to address the deeper patterns that shape professional and personal fulfilment.

Practice description

My practice provides both scheduled weekly sessions and flexible containers designed for executive schedules. Sessions are available in-person in London (Tuesdays) and Margate, as well as globally via secure online platforms.

I work with executives and leaders through both immediate crisis points and longer transformative journeys. Sessions integrate evidence-based approaches including Psychosynthesis, Somatic Experiencing, and elements of Jungian depth psychology, creating a sophisticated framework that honors both analytical thinking and embodied wisdom.

Clients can expect a direct, strategic approach that respects their professional expertise while opening new perspectives on leadership, identity, and purpose. I maintain strong professional boundaries and understand the paramount importance of confidentiality for leaders in high-stakes positions.

While my executive depth work forms the core of my practice, I maintain a select community practice, including LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, reflecting my commitment to diverse perspectives and experiences in psychological work.

My first session

I offer an initial one-hour executive consultation at a reduced rate, designed to assess fit and align objectives. This extended first meeting allows us to explore your specific challenges and determine the most effective therapeutic approach for your situation.

Prior to our first meeting, you'll receive a comprehensive onboarding package including practice protocols and engagement framework. This allows us to maximize our time together focusing on your specific needs rather than administrative details.

The initial consultation serves as an in-depth strategic assessment, exploring both immediate concerns and longer-term transformation goals. Drawing on my executive background, I understand the importance of clear outcomes and measurable progress while maintaining therapeutic depth.

We typically begin with a 6-session initial engagement, followed by a strategic review to ensure alignment with your objectives. This structure provides both containment and flexibility, respecting the demands of executive schedules while maintaining the consistency needed for meaningful psychological work. While significant insights often emerge in these initial sessions, meaningful depth psychological work tends to unfold over a longer term, allowing for sustained transformation and integration of both professional and personal growth.

I am currently taking on new clients and have availability days and evenings. I work online, and have done so for years, and believe it can be as effective as in-person sessions.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a Psychosynthesis Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling, working in private practice online, and in Margate and London. I work primarily with women and LGBTQIA+ individuals on issues around sexuality, trauma, relationships, identity (encompassing purpose, meaning, and life transitions), anxiety and depression, professional paths, self-esteem and body issues. My aim is to help you connect with who you really are - I offer a compassionate and empathic environment in which to creatively explore difficulties as well as your ambitions and dreams.

My primary modality, Psychosynthesis, goes beyond where many therapies finish - we will not only explore “what’s wrong”, but also understand where you are, where you want to be and how to get there. My aim is to guide you to connect to your own innate health, to discover your true potential and become all that you are capable of being. The therapy is tailored to your individual needs and I draw on a range of theoretical approaches, as well as techniques from creatove therapies, guided imagery, mindfulness, journaling, and embodied techniques to help you achieve awareness, emotional balance and freedom. My approach is informed by my additional training in somatic (body-related) disciplines - we will be paying attention to what is happening in your body, alongside your feelings, thoughts, imagination, and spirit.

Practice description

I provide a safe, supportive, non-judgemental, and collaborative space for you to slow down, find your resources and connect with yourself, through telling your story and exploring tools to calm, protect and care for yourself. I can help you understand how your past and present are linked to the symptoms, issues or longings that have led you to seek therapy. This can give you a deeper experience of who you are, and where you really want to go in life.

I am queer, LGBTQ+ affirmative, poly and kink knowledgeable, and trauma-informed. I happily work with people who identify as diverse in their sexuality, gender and/or relationship styles. I offer in-person and online counselling for individuals and couples.

My first session

We will typically have a brief chat by phone to talk about what's bringing you to counselling and arrange our first session. Before your session, I will email you a confirmation of our session date and time, instructions for joining or directions to my therapy space, plus my terms and conditions and consent form to read. The first session is 50 minutes, where we will cover any questions you have on the forms, and continue the conversation - beginning to understand the major themes of your background and what your goals might be for counselling. A feeling of fit between you and your therapist is so important - this session enables both of us to get to know one another and decide on next steps. If we decide to work together, we will find a regular time each week to meet, and I will ask for 48 hours notice for any cancellation. We'd normally agree an initial therapy contract 5 more sessions and then take some time to assess whether our work is moving in the direction you would like.
