About me and my therapy practice
As a person-centred therapist, I believe in every process each of us is going through as well as the power to become who we would like to be. With my experience of living in different countries (United Kingdom, Germany, China, Taiwan), I am confident to say that I am open-minded and have a good understanding of western and oriental cultures.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree (with Merit) in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling & Psychotherapy, and I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
As a person-centred therapist, my role is to listen, explore, and provides my clients a safe environment and help them to empower themselves.
Practice description
My aim as a person-centred therapist is to offer you an environment of compassion and empathy. Together, we will explore your feelings and emotions, in which you will feel understood, accepted, and valued. I believe you are your own expert, you know what the best is for you and my role is to support you in making sense of your experiences.
As our therapeutic relationship develops, I will encourage you to set the pace and direction of our work together, so that we focus on the topics which are most important to you.
I understand the various struggles you are experiencing could be painful and tough, but I look forward to having this journey and help you to grow.
My first session
The first session is important for us to talk about why you are interested in having therapy, and an important chance for us to communicate all the concerns and questions that you have for psychotherapy.
