About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP registered existential psychotherapist with a private practice in London and on the south coast. With a background in the commercial sector managing businesses and large teams, I have always had a passion for working with people. My approach to therapy involves working in close collaboration with my clients to help them explore the challenges, struggles, and obstacles that may be affecting their well-being.
In today's fast-paced world, people experience many challenges and complex pressures. As a psychotherapist, I offer clients a secure and confidential space to explore their situation and examine the obstacles affecting their happiness and health. Grounded in an attitude of curiosity and wonder and informed by a disciplined interest in the therapeutic process, I strive for honesty, being straightforward and non-judgemental in my approach to therapy.
I believe that building trust and establishing a working partnership with my clients is essential for our sessions to be effective and beneficial. I aim to foster emotional and personal growth in my clients, empowering them to find solutions and move forward with clarity. By facilitating an open dialogue that encourages curiosity and reflexivity, I support clients in confronting their challenges, gaining insight into their lives, and moving closer to what they hope to achieve in therapy.
Practice description
With broad experience across a wide range of clinical settings, I provide short- and long-term psychotherapy to adults of all ages. I see clients in person in London and on the south coast or remotely online and by phone.
I specialise in a therapeutic approach known as existential psychotherapy, which helps people to create meaning in their lives and understand their place in the world. It views emotional and psychological challenges as inner conflicts that arise when people confront the complex realities of our shared humanity.
Starting therapy may seem intimidating, but it is not as challenging as you might think. Once you take the initial step and decide to try it, you may discover that it's more about developing a deeper understanding of yourself, achieving more in life, and fulfilling your potential.
If this interests you, please contact me for a complimentary call to discuss how we can work together.
