Trauma Specialist. Welcome to Blue Orchid Psychotherapy. My name is Helen. I'm a warm, empathic, fully qualified and experienced integrative adult & child psychotherapist. I'm passionate about supporting people through periods of 'stuckness', distress and overwhelm. I am highly skilled in trauma work and a wide range of mental health conditions. I have previously worked in mental health hospitals practising on both addiction and general psychiatry units, in children's care homes and schools. If you're struggling and need a safe space to address your distress, then I'm here for you. Practice description
I offer an integrative approach tailored to suit you. I am experienced in supporting those affected by: Trauma & PTSD, Addiction, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Self-Harming and Relationship Issues. I have extensive experience working with survivors of rape and/or sexual abuse. I offer face-face, online and telephone sessions.
For me, the success of any therapeutic relationship is dependant the provision of a safe, trusting, honest and empathic environment, this is what I will offer to you.
