Practice description

Psychotherapy provides a space for you to feel safe, supported and understood. Perhaps you are struggling to overcome painful experiences or you simply want to develop your potential and to live more fully. Perhaps you are looking to understand your past and its impact on the present or you are seeking to diminish the power of unhelpful defences and self-defeating patterns of behaviour.

Whatever the reason or the difficulty you are facing, I am happy to meet you and together we can seek to understand your situation with the aim of helping you to be the best you can be and to realise your full potential.

Please have a look at my website for more information - www.pauldoocey.com

My first session

If you are interested in starting therapy, I suggest we have an initial session to get to know each other. This would be an opportunity for you to talk about your situation and what you are hoping to work on. At the end of the initial meeting we will agree the next steps. If you want to start therapy we will agree a regular time to meet and this will be your reserved space.

Please get in touch to discuss meeting for an initial session. My email and phone line are confidential. I am always happy to speak briefly on the phone and if I can't answer your call immediately you can leave a message in complete confidence and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
