About me and my therapy practice

Hello I am an experienced Counsellor offering therapy to adults and young people. I would like to offer you a space to explore what you need help with and some of the blocks and difficulties you are facing. Through our counselling relationship I endeavour to help you to explore your own issues, feelings, beliefs and behaviours to develop and become your most enlightened self:

I offer a safe, confidential, comfortable, welcoming environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement. I aim to allow you to feel empowered and more attuned to your inner self and better equipped to navigate your relationships and journey towards positive change. Whether you need help with relationships loss, work issues, health depression, self belief, confidence, anxiety, or any other difficulty. I will help you to gently explore, find and understand the beliefs holding you back and allow you to move forward with a renewed confidence.

I am a Person-Centred, client led practitioner but I also use an integrative approach, depending on your needs. This might be Transactional Analysis, which looks at the scripts you have learnt from childhood, or Psycho-dynamic theories for trauma based work. I am committed to continuously enhancing my self awareness and refining my skills through ongoing growth and professional development. I have a holistic approach and a belief that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I am an experienced accredited BACP practitioner with an educational and business background. My degree was in Psychology and Sociology but also I have Postgraduate qualifications and am constantly updating my CPD.

Please see my website for more information about me. I regularly blog and update my testimonials.

About me and my therapy practice

As an experienced Accredited Counsellor, I specialise in offering  therapy for both adults and young people, providing a safe and supportive space where you can explore life’s challenges. Whether you're navigating difficulties in relationships, struggling with loss, battling work-related stress, or facing issues like anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem, I am here to guide you on a journey of self-discovery and healing. Together, we can work through the barriers that are holding you back, empowering you to live a more fulfilling and confident life.

My therapy approach is confidential, comfortable, and free from judgement, allowing you the freedom to express your thoughts and feelings openly. I aim to help you tap into your inner strength, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and ultimately feel better equipped to handle life’s obstacles with clarity and confidence.

I primarily practice Person-Centred Therapy, ensuring our sessions are led by your needs, but I also take an integrative approach to tailor the process specifically for you. This might involve Transactional Analysis, where we explore patterns and beliefs from childhood, or Psycho dynamic methods for trauma work. My holistic approach is grounded in the belief that there is always a way forward, and together, we can find it.

With a background in both Psychology and Sociology, I bring a rich understanding of human behaviour to my practice. I have also worked in both educational and business settings, which has broadened my perspective and experience. I am dedicated to continuous growth, refining my skills through ongoing professional development and self-awareness practices.

For more insight into my work, or to read testimonials and articles, please visit my website where I regularly blog about mental health and personal development.
