Hiya, I’m Lennie.

How often do you wish life felt less overwhelming and more you? Change can feel like the hardest thing to start, but that’s where I come in. I work with teenagers figuring out who they are in a world that loves to slap on labels, and I help parents and professionals navigate the chaos right alongside them.

Life with the people you care about shouldn’t feel like a constant battle—it should feel like something you actually enjoy. Let’s be real—keeping your head down and pretending everything’s fine won’t get you anywhere. Together, we’ll face the hard stuff, rewrite the rules to fit you, rebuild your confidence, and create a life that finally feels right.

It all starts with a quick email or message—super simple. We’ll set up a free 20/30-minute online consultation where we can have a proper chat. This is your chance to share what’s on your mind, learn about how I work, and see if we’re a good fit. If it turns out I’m not the right person for you, no worries—I’ll help you find someone who is.

If you decide I’m the therapist for you, we’ll figure out the session type that works best—whether that’s in-person (at my cosy home practice in Skelmersdale) or online. Either way, your comfort is the top priority. My space is relaxed and welcoming—whether you’re a shoes-off, legs-up-on-the-couch kind of person or someone who needs a cuppa in hand to feel at ease.

I get that life gets busy (and, let’s be honest, a bit chaotic), which is why I offer online booking so you can easily schedule, pay for, or manage your appointments. Need reminders? I’ve got you covered!

Building trust is the heart of what I do. We’ll work together at your pace, creating a space where you feel safe to explore, grow, and tackle life’s challenges. My first session

Here’s what your first session with me looks like:

Before we meet, you’ll get a welcome email with a counselling contract and an intake form. These give us a head start, so we don’t waste therapy time on admin. Struggling with the forms? No stress—we’ll go through them together during your session.

When you arrive (in person or online), we’ll take a moment to settle in. Grab a drink, take a breath, and get into the headspace to begin. First, we’ll review the contract—it’s the framework for how we’ll work together. Got questions or tweaks? We’ll sort them out so you feel fully comfortable.

Then, we dive into the real stuff. This is your space to share what brought you here—whether it’s tackling anxiety, fixing relationships, or just figuring out who you are. Together, we’ll shape your sessions to focus on what you want to achieve.

By the end of your first session, I want you to feel confident and ready to start your journey. If you’ve got questions or worries, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Our journey together starts with a free 20–30 minute online consultation. If, at any point, we feel I might not be the best match, I’ll happily guide you toward a supervisor who better suits your needs.

Moving Forward

If we decide to work together, I’ll send over a supervision contract and intake forms for you to complete before our first full session. During that first session, we’ll review everything in detail, ensuring we’re both on the same page about how we’ll work together.

My aim is for you to leave the session with a clear understanding of who I am and the confidence that I can help you achieve your professional goals.
