Availability
I have sessions Monday - Friday between 9am and 9pm, depending on availability.
As well as flexibility to session times, I can also vary how we have our sessions for those that work, study or travel.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer daytime and evening appointments for individuals, both online (£55) and in-person (£60) and couples (£70).
Do you feel lost, low or unable to describe how you're feeling?
Do you feel your relationship needs some support?
I’m a warm and professional counsellor with a wide background of experience. I work one to one with adults by providing a space to work together in a confident, professional, and safe way. I’m non-judgmental, calm and empathic to the situations of others and I understand that building healthy and stable therapeutic relationships with clients is key for progress. I have a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and trained using a range of different theories, known as an integrative counsellor, that allows me to adapt to your needs within our sessions and work at a pace that is suitable and safe for you. I also hold BSc (hons) Psychology and currently am completing a MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice.
Practice description
I work with couples and individuals within the UK and Ireland.
I'm a non-judgemental counsellor with a varied background including work in and with the emergency service, public health mental health and the Armed Forces.
I have experience and a particular interest in the areas of family relationships, including narcissism, as well as addiction and abuse. However, I welcome all clients to explore how we could work together.
I am also trained to offer Rewind Therapy which can help those who have experienced trauma, PTSD and upsetting events that they would like to move past.
I am flexible with sessions bookings as I understand a commitment to the same time each week can be difficult for those that work shifts.
My first session
I understand the first session can be daunting, so I can take the lead by explaining how I work as a counsellor and getting to know you, if you would like. Our first session also includes the completion of a contract which, although there are points I need to let you know about, I invite you to add anything you would like to agree together.
This session also gives you the opportunity to say what has brought you to counselling, what your expectations are and what you would like to achieve.
At the end of the session, there will be the opportunity to book another session. However, it is vital you feel comfortable working with and if you do not, it is okay to decline a second session.
