About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
I offer a friendly and down to earth approach to therapy, providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space and time to talk.
My background is in Health and social care, working with individuals and groups with mental health and complex needs. My journey into becoming a trained counsellor was instinctive and a very natural next step to support individuals who are finding life difficult for a variety of reasons.
With training and experience in the main evidenced-based psychotherapy , I am able to work in a flexible and collaborative way, tailoring theory to the specific needs of the individual.
As an intergrative counsellor I have been trained to select a small handful of different theoretical modalities to develop my own distinct way of working! I believe in working with the whole person, this includes, reflecting on past as well as present experiences and relationships.
I offer a safe and confidential space where we can create a working alliance together, in which I can help you to reflect on your feelings , thoughts and experiences to become more self-aware and build a resilience and increase your self esteem! Finding your own unique answers to life stresses and challenges.
Practice description
I work within the ethical framework of the BACP, I have regular clinical supervision and engage in a wide range of continuous professional development.
I offer short and long term therapy based on your individual needs.
Each counselling session will take place on a set day and time convenient to us both.
My first session
The first appointment is at a fixed rate of £30 for each potential client.
