About me and my therapy practice

Hi, my name is Tara. I am an integrative therapist who primarily focuses on ensuring that my client feels comfortable to explore hidden truths, emotional pain and daily struggles. I specifically tailor my methods to your needs and wishes. Together, we can change old patterns that may have not been serving you well, and find new ways to create a nourishing and happier future.

Practice description

An area that I have had particular experience with is anxiety, relationship issues, eating disorders and gender and sexuality issues. I have spent many years in a psychosexual organisation discovering new ways of dealing with challenging situations and I aim to relay my knowledge back to you. Each session is tailor made and we will go at your own pace. My priority is to ensure my client feels connected with me in order for the best work to be made, so our relationship is key but I fully understand that this takes time.

I work with individuals but also with couples. We can look more closely into your dynamics and how I can help you. By showing you both new ways of communicating with each other, in a healthy and secure way, is one step of many towards change.

Ethics are incredibly valuable and essential to my work. I work alongside with the BACP maintaining a high standard of therapy.

My first session

We can assess what brings you to therapy and how I may be able to help you. You are most welcome to ask me any question as I want to be totally transparent with you. The first session is a chance to see whether we 'click' and whether we would be the best fit. I understand that this is a big decision so there is no rush. As with any session I provide, we will go at your own pace.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation if you would like, but I would recommend us having a first session via video but this is totally up to you.
