Life can often present us with challenges that feel overwhelming and difficult to navigate alone. Practice description
As an integrative counsellor, I draw upon a variety of therapeutic approaches to tailor my practice to the unique needs of each individual. My experience encompasses working with clients facing a range of challenges, including bereavement, childhood trauma, and anxiety. I believe that every person's journey is unique, and I am committed to providing a compassionate and supportive space for exploration and healing.
Having grown up as a mixed-race individual, I have a personal understanding of the complexities surrounding identity and cultural issues. This background has enriched my ability to connect with others from diverse backgrounds and to navigate the many differences of their experiences. I am particularly attuned to the impact of discrimination and the ways it can affect mental health and self-perception.
Through my work, I aim to empower individuals to embrace their identities, process their trauma, grief, emotions and develop resilience in the face of life's challenges. I am dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.
My first session
I understand that choosing a counsellor can feel quite intimidating and overwhelming. This is why I offer a free 20 minute consultation via tele phone or online. You can use this time to ask any questions that you may have and I can explain how I work.
