Practice description
My name is Haley and I am a professional counsellor and psychotherapist. I can offer you a warm, genuine and caring relationship. I will create a safe space in a comfortable environment to explore your experiences and understand more about yourself.
Everyday life throws up challenges that can affect us emotionally, physically and psychologically.
Psychotherapy provides a safe environment to talk about anything you want to at your own pace. It is an opportunity for you to explore your thoughts and feelings with a therapist in a supportive, and confidential setting. It creates a relationship to explore issues such as relationship difficulties, physical and mental health concerns, self-confidence and self-esteem.
Psychotherapy can increase your self-awareness, enhancing your emotional and physical well-being reaching a deeper understanding of yourself. Beyond this, psychotherapy supports healthy and fulfilling relationships - with others and importantly, with yourself.
I have over 6 years' experience of psychotherapy work. Before qualifying as a psychotherapist, I worked for many years supporting survivors of domestic abuse and trauma, and have worked with clients across diverse cultural backgrounds.
I offer long and short-term counselling and psychotherapy face to face. My practice is not far from the city centre. it is situated on the ground floor and has on street parking.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to find out what brings you to therapy and for you to ask any questions that you may have.
We can then book a 50 minute initial assessment where we can meet to explore more of what your current situation is and what you would like to achieve from coming to therapy. It is an opportunity to get to know each other and to get an idea of what it would be like to work together.
There is no obligation for you to continue if you are not comfortable.
