About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative therapist who works with young people, age 16 plus and adults. I am passionate about supporting mental health and work hard to help clients overcome difficulties and day-to-day challenges. I am committed to empower positive change in individuals and improve their wellbeing.
I offer a safe and non-judgmental place where people can be themselves; where they can bring and share their experiences, and look at how these particular situations affect their lives.
Through active listening, I will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I will follow your lead. Through our talks, I will be able to gain insight into your problems and personal circumstances. I will help you understand where your difficulties come from and, when appropriate, I will gently challenge you and provide a different perspective. Together, we will work through layers of emotions and behaviours, to help you face the challenges and regain the control of your feelings and actions.
I aim to develop strong therapeutic relationship with clients from all walks of life, based on trust and respect. I genuinely believe that every person is unique and has capacity to change, and can overcome their struggles with therapy. I help individuals work through difficulties at their own pace, whilst supporting their emotional wellbeing. I champion their improvement and aid them to find a place, where they would like to be.
I am a relational therapist. I approach every client with empathy and care. I will support you on your path and help you regain your strength and achieve your healing goals.
I have worked with individuals who were struggling with various issues: self-worth, confidence, child abuse, anxiety, relationship and family issues, trauma, sexuality diversity, perfectionism, panic attacks and loss.
I offer face to face appointments in Abingdon and online sessions via Zoom.
