About me and my therapy practice
Hello & welcome, my name is Noreen, and I have experience of working with a range of issues.
I work with Adults, Couples, Children & Adolescents
If you have reached the point where you know something needs to change but you're not quite sure what? Together we can see if we can start to make sense of things and bring you a bit more clarity and understanding. I have undergone a full and extensive training, I am qualified to deal with a range of presenting psychological issues. all of which are grounded in evidence-based practice. I work integratively, using researched techniques that work for each individual or couple on a personalised basis.
You may have had expectations and judgements throughout your life, suppressed your own feelings and beliefs to be accepted, and this has worked so far, but somewhere there has been a shift and your feelings maybe difficult to contain, leaving you feeling anxious, depressed, unresolved trauma being triggered? Using Person centred approach, I offer a non-judgemental space where you will feel able to reflect on your thoughts feelings anxieties and concerns.
Together, in a therapeutic relationship we can explore the impact these have on your everyday life.
I can support you in processing, identifying areas of difficulty and support you in moving forward.
Practice description
I will offer you a safe confidential space for you to explore your feelings, fears and difficulties without having to worry about the impact this might have on your friends and family, giving you the opportunity to work out a meaningful way to move forward.
I know how important it is to find the right person for you. I offer an empathetic and non-judgemental ear to allow you to encounter an easier experience.
At the heart of my work is the belief I have in people and their ability to unlock their inner strengths to reach their full potential. We can work together to identify ways to resolve difficult feelings you may be experiencing and uncover what factors may be contributing to the issue. With my support, we can expose new insights which you may not have discovered alone, this could be a new strength, or finding new ways to solve past or present issues that could help you towards living a satisfying healthy life.
My first session
I usually offer a short introductory telephone call, this is for you to ask any questions and to get a sense of me and how I work.
If you are happy to continue we would arrange an initial session.

I am a person-centred therapist with training and experience in CBT, DBT, and mindfulness.
I believe that each individual or relationship is unique and I adapt my approach to meet your needs.
I have a special interest working with Anxiety-General & Social-Depression-Trauma-Addiction- Bereavement & Loss.
I work with Adults-Seniors-Teens-Children-Couples.
My first session
I offer a complimentary call usually for around 15 minutes, this is an opportunity for you to get a sense of who I am and how I work, and for you to ask any questions discuss your expectations and goals.
Should we agree to work together, we would then agree a suitable date and time to meet.
I work both long and short term.
You can end therapy when it suits you, however it is always wise to plan an ending as part of the therapeutic process.

Hello, I'm Noreen a very warm welcome to you. I work with adults, couples & adolescents.

I know that this process can be a little bit intimidating reaching out for help is incredibly difficult, especially doing it for the first time.

I will do what I can to help you feel at ease and ready for whatever comes next, I love my work being a witness to my clients' change and growth is a real privilege. Couples Therapy/Marriage Counselling may be the support you need to grow beyond your stuck points. I will help you understand your communication style. We identify opportunities for increasing personal accountability. You improve your ability to self-reflect. We also heal emotional wounds that may block you from establishing trust and safety.

Children & Adolescence
My experience as a mother and grandmother supported by my work with children and young people provides a 360 approach to therapy.
Working with children and young people aged 11-18 years, I have helped many young people to understand their feelings, manage difficult times, become more aware and work towards achieving their full potential.
My first session
