Do you feel lost or stuck in your life? Maybe you want to feel like the ‘old you’ again. Counselling can help you unpick what has brought you to where you are, and discover where you want to go from here. I will help you explore your thoughts and feelings, enabling you to find your own solutions, in your own time, leading to a calmer and more fulfilling life. I offer a nurturing and calm environment to help you work through the challenges that you are facing. Coming to counselling can feel daunting. Often, people going through difficult times in life, don’t know where to start, but know something has to change. Please know, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Every person's path to counselling is unique. Whether you’re grappling with specific issues, feeling persistently overwhelmed, unhappy, or stuck, or simply need a space to process your thoughts and make sense of things, I’m here to provide a warm, confidential, and non-judgmental sounding board. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll really listen to both your words and emotions, to help you unravel and make sense of your experiences. My goal is to support you to make meaningful changes and move forward in life in a way that feels right to you. I don’t give advice but help you to explore your thoughts and feelings, as you are ready to.
I have counselling rooms in the peaceful village of Kemerton and on the outskirts of Gloucester (GL2)
My first session
After your initial contact, I offer a complimentary 20 minute telephone call. This is a chance for us to briefly discuss the issues you're hoping to address in counselling and for us both to get a sense of how we might work together.
In our first session we will explore what the focus of our work might be and get a sense of what meeting together might feel like. This session is not just about me understanding you, but also about you gauging how comfortable and heard you feel with me as your counsellor. It is also an opportunity to ask any questions you have. Remember, there's absolutely no obligation to schedule further sessions after our initial meeting.
