About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified member of BACP and an accredited member of UKCP with over ten years of experience. I can help you to explore questions of meaning and identity and to find ways to live your life in accordance with your own values. I work collaboratively with clients to discover resources for healing and growth, drawing on an integrative approach involving various modalities of psychotherapy that allows us to select the most beneficial tools with which to help you. I seek to provide a safe space in which you can challenge yourself at your own pace while also appreciating your humanity.
My first session
While a therapeutic relationship takes time to develop, the first session can give you a sense of our working alliance. The first session gives you an opportunity to talk about your aims for therapy and for me to ask some details about your personal history in order to build a foundation for the sessions to follow.
