About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP registered Psychotherapist with a postgraduate diploma in existential psychotherapy and counselling.

You may be experiencing difficult and confusing emotions due to an unexpected event such as a bereavement or loss, or you may be struggling with symptoms of anxiety or facing a life transition of some sort. I offer a calm, confidential and welcoming space where I will be present with you and listen to your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Sharing in this way will ease the burden you are carrying and allow you to make sense of what may feel overwhelming at the present time.

Our sessions will be a gentle exploration of your life with the focus on the present. This will inevitably include looking sometimes into the past and also looking ahead to the future. I have over 8 years experience of working with clients struggling with bereavement, complex bereavement, loss, anxiety, relationships and infertility.

I may point out contradictions and patterns that you are unaware of which can often lead to insights and/or a new way of seeing a situation. Our sessions will be held with a view to allowing you to ultimately find your way through to experiencing more peace and joy in your life, even in challenging circumstances.

Practice description

Sessions are by Zoom Video Call and last 50 mins.

I recognise that the decision to begin personal therapy is an important step.  We take things at your own pace. The sessions are yours, and we will work with what you decide to bring on that day to that session.

I encourage my clients to take ownership of their lives, to find meaning and to live fully in the present.
