About me and my therapy practice
There can be many reasons for seeking help in the form of therapy. Perhaps you have suffered a loss, such as a bereavement or divorce. You may be feeling overwhelmed. You may feel anxious, or depressed, perhaps as a result of relationship issues, or problems at work. You may suffer from low self-esteem. You may have unresolved issues from the past. You may be feeling stuck, or off kilter, and don't know why. Perhaps you find yourself saying yes when you really mean no in order to avoid conflict with others. Or maybe you want to use therapy for self-care, as a way of maintaining good mental health. Whatever your reason, you have taken the first step to taking control.
Practice description
I am a trained therapeutic counsellor who uses an integrative style to tailor therapy to your unique individual needs.
Sometimes trying to make sense of our experiences can feel difficult, overwhelming and isolating when doing it alone. I can help you with this next step by providing a calm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can safely explore your issues. I can help by truly listening to you and placing you at the centre of our sessions. I will offer an accepting environment where you will be encouraged, at your own pace, to carefully navigate your issues. Together we will explore your issues raising your awareness of how you think and feel and function. You may discover something needs to change in your life for you to feel better. I can support you while you uncover ways of implementing changes in turn helping you to unlock the version of yourself you truly want to be.
