About me and my therapy practice
Are you experiencing a challenge that feels too difficult to cope with? Or maybe you are dealing with overwhelming feelings of anxiety or depression? Have you suffered a loss or bereavement? Are you managing these emotional challenges with unhelpful patterns of behaviour? Having experienced some difficulties in my own life, I understand how hard it can be to take the first step towards therapy. I offer a safe and confidential space where, together, we can work with the issues that are unique to you. I work holistically by using a variety of therapy approaches that will help support you in finding a way forward.
Practice description
I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, stress, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. I also have experience in eating disorders, particularly binge eating/compulsive overeating. By providing a non-judgmental space, we can collaboratively work together towards a deeper understanding, awareness and new perspectives.
I provide a safe environment that enables clients to explore their feelings at their own pace. I am passionate about helping clients develop personal awareness and positive change.
I trained at the Minster Centre, the UK's leading integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling training institute. I gained:-
* MA in Psychotherapy
* Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling
* Postgraduate Diploma (Level 7) in Integrative Counselling
I am also a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the UKCP (UK Counsel for Psychotherapy) and abide by their code of ethics.
As well as my own private practice, I have also worked one-to-one with adults at a low cost therapy service in Queens Park and a bereavement service in Kentish Town.
My first session
The first thing to do is email or telephone me with your contact details and a brief description or any question(s) you may have around therapy. I will then get back in touch to arrange a free 20 minute session. This will hopefully give us both an opportunity to explore how we can best work together, and how the work is relevant to your therapeutic needs.
