About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and welcome to my profile.
My name is Laura, and I am a qualified therapist based in Dartford, offering face-to-face, online, and telephone sessions to meet your unique therapeutic needs and preferences.
I believe that for counselling to be effective, it’s essential to connect with a therapist on a human level. This connection, known as the therapeutic relationship, is grounded in trust and rapport, making therapy a collaborative process that works best when we work together.
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I draw from a variety of therapeutic models to tailor my approach to your specific situation. I offer a professional, ethical, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can explore the challenges you are facing. Together, we can work towards understanding what may be affecting you and find ways to move forward.
Throughout my career, I’ve gained extensive experience across a wide range of issues, working with individuals of all ages—from as young as four years old—in settings such as schools, colleges, hospices, and hospitals. I currently specialize in traumatic bereavement, suicide prevention, and complex grief in South East London. In addition to my focus on bereavement, I have supported clients dealing with trauma, personality disorders, abuse, anxiety, depression, family breakdowns, recovery, and more.
I believe that with the right support and empathy, positive change is possible for everyone. My sessions are client-led, and I aim to empower you to find your own solutions and enhance your self-awareness as we navigate the issues that matter to you.

About My Practice
At some point in life, many of us face challenges, whether from illness, a relationship breakdown, career loss, bereavement, or past trauma. These experiences can feel overwhelming and make it difficult to manage daily life. Sometimes, what we need most is an external perspective—a compassionate listener who can help us untangle our thoughts and emotions. I understand how hard it can be to acknowledge this need and seek help, but support is available.
I offer one-to-one sessions from my practice in Dartford, Kent, and I’m also available for virtual or telephone appointments.
