About me and my therapy practice
My name is Hanna. I work with what you bring to the counselling session, I won’t ask you to talk about anything that you don’t wish to discuss. I have a positive view of human nature. I believe that we are all doing the best we can, in the circumstances we face. I believe we all have within us what we need to live our best lives, but sometimes we get stuck and need support to find our way forward. This is where Counselling can help.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to explore and understand your feelings and experiences. My hope is that you will find me warm, empathic and authentic. Our sessions will be led by your needs, and I will walk alongside you with warmth and understanding, helping you gain clarity and self-acceptance.
I will ask questions to clarify my understanding of your experience and to help you get in touch with your feelings, even the most uncomfortable ones. Through this, I will help you find your own inner resources to enable you to deal more effectively with whatever is troubling you.
Practice description
I work face to face just opposite Ealing Broadway Station.
In Lammas and Walpole Park I offer Walk and Talk Therapy. Instead of sitting in a room, we will be walking alongside while you explore what is on your mind. You will determine the pace, decide if you would like to sit down for a while or engage with your surroundings. Walk and talk therapy combines therapy and exercise with the benefit of being in nature. I also am a certified Forest Therapy Practitioner. The NHS recommends walking for your mental and physical health.
You can see me online from anywhere the UK.
Though my focus lies in counselling women, I welcome people with other gender identities who think I might be the right counsellor for them.
Experience
I am seeing clients since 2017 and have experience in working with people from all walks of life. From 2018 to 2021 I worked with an organisation that specialises in counselling domestic abuse survivors.
I regularly engage in professional development activities to stay informed, enhance my skills and ensure that I provide the most effective and compassionate work.
Qualifications
BA (Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling. (Middlesex University, London)
Forest Therapy Practitioner certified by Light Box Project CIC
Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling Metanoia Institute London, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
Certificate in Systemic Coaching BR-Systemberatung by the quality standards of the European Coaching Association (ECA).
My first session
I became therapist because of my own experience of having therapy. Being listened to without judgement, being believed and accepted, was transformative. I learned to ask for help, that with understanding and self-compassion I not only changed myself but my surroundings and relationships as well. I also learned that finding the right therapist is very important.
You might ask yourself how you would know if I am the right therapist for you. An initial telephone conversation gives you the opportunity to experience my way of working and if you think you will be comfortable with me. For me it is an opportunity to assess if I feel well placed to work with the issues you are bringing. After we started our work together, we will have regular reviews of our therapy relationship in which you can explore if you are getting what you need from our sessions. The first review will be in our sixth session

About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. You might feel trapped or alone. Maybe you are not recognising yourself anymore, struggling with imposter syndrome or low self-esteem. Talking to a person who listens without judgment, supports you making sense of your life’s experiences. Becoming aware of how what happened to you is influencing your life, will empower you to realise your potential.
I work with people from all walks of life and a wide range of issues, be it navigating change or personal growth, experiencing anxiety or depression, facing bullying or feeling exhausted by microaggressions.
What my clients have in common is that they experienced some form of marginalisation and abuse. I believe in the importance of working intersectional, which means that I recognise how various aspects of my client’s identity – such as race, gender, sexuality, class, ability – interact to shape their experience of oppression and privilege.
You can see me in person in Ealing W5. I also offer Walk and Talk therapy and am a certified Forest Therapy Practitioner. You can also work with me online from anywhere in the UK and Europe.
Counselling sessions are available at a fee range of £65 to £80, allowing flexibility to meet your needs.
Practice description
In our sessions we will genuinely connect and you will be the expert. My job is to understand you, to follow you into your world with empathy and postive regard for your experience.
As a person-centred counsellor, I practice a hopeful and empowering approach where the client takes the lead in the counselling journey. Your agenda guides our sessions, allowing you to address the issues that matter most to you.
I believe that people inherently possess the capacity for self-awareness and positive growth. We work together to explore your strengths, challenges and goals. I support you in finding your own solutions.
Whether you are navigating personal growth, coping with stress, experiencing anxiety or depression, facing micro-aggressions or bullying, I am here to accompany you on your journey.
