About me and my therapy practice

I offer an integrative approach to counselling to ensure your individual needs can be met.

I have experience in working with people with additional needs and their families offering therapeutic support. I understand how challenging but rewarding it can be to care for and support a child/adult with additional needs.

I offer a safe, non judgemental space where you can explore your feelings and where you can invest in you.

We will work together to create a therapeutic relationship that can lead to greater insight into your thoughts and behaviours.

Practice description

I offer online, face to face or telephone sessions in  Shropshire and Midlands areas. If you live outside of this area we can arrange to work virtually.

I offer a combined approach to psychotherapy, that brings together different elements of specific therapies. I believe that this is the best model to meet the individual needs of clients.

My first session

During our free nonobligatory initial consultation we will spend time understanding what your hopes are, and what you would like to get out of your counselling sessions, we will also ensure you are aware of what we can offer.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified, registered counsellor providing an Integrative approach to counselling that works to meet your individual needs. I will support you to build a plan to develop your own personal growth and help if you are feeling lost, struggling with low self-esteem or generally looking to improve your well-being.

The therapy is all about self-exploration and using this approach  can help you to increase self-awareness, and assist you in finding a greater sense of purpose in life.

I offer weekly or fortnightly sessions during the day and evenings.

Practice description

I offer counselling in a way that meets your needs, this may be face to face, on zoom or over the phone.  I have appointments available to fit around your commitments and provide a comfortable, relaxing space where we can safely explore your feelings.

I am registered with the BACP and hold appropriate insurance and DBS Certification. I attend regular supervision and undertake regular CPD to ensure all my skills are kept up to date.

My first session

I offer a free consultation so you have the opportunity to speak to me and ask me questions about my practice and an opportunity for me to understand what brings you to counselling.  If following this initial session you wish to continue we will organise our first session together.

During your first session we will spend time looking at what you would like to achieve from counselling and spend this time contracting so you are happy with what is on offer, this is also a time where we can add things that you might like into the counselling contract as this is key to how we will work together.

We will have plenty of time to discuss your needs and where you can ask any questions that you have.
