About me and my therapy practice

What brings you to therapy? Maybe something current in your life or maybe something from your past… Together we will work to find out what is going on.

I am a fully qualified in-person practising therapist with clinics in Angel Islington, Holborn, Bond Street, the West End, Oxford Street and Marylebone. I also offer online therapy. I am committed to providing counselling and talking therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I work with individuals and couples using an open-ended approach or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

I do not see myself as an expert, you are the expert on you; rather I see myself as a skilled helper in your journey.

I understand that seeking out therapy can be a difficult decision for some, but I firmly believe that when an individual makes that step, it is because they are ready for change and growth. Using my training, we will work towards a better awareness of yourself and a better awareness of yourself in relation to others.

My approach is integrative, meaning that I draw on and integrate the training I have had psychodynamic and therapeutic relational theories and applications. I tend to lean towards the Psychodynamic.

Current: MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, University of London (UoL).

Practice description

At the centre of my practice is the cultivation of a secure, safe, and confidential therapeutic environment and relationship. This is key to building a strong therapeutic alliance with clients; a relational, harmless and co-created space between therapist and client.

I believe that my practice should be informed by Continued Professional Development, some CPDs are:
