About me and my therapy practice
Hello I am Rachel Sewrey, I am a qualified counsellor based in Farnham, Surrey. I am a registered Accredited member of the BACP & NCPS . As well as having my own private practice Serenity Speaking, I also offer clinical supervision based in Farnham, I have volunteered for The Fountain Centre, cancer support at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and Catalyst substance misuse charities.I currently am working with the Police Firearms Officers Association to help police officers that are affected by trauma & also registered with Bupa Health Insurance to allow me to work with clients who have Bupa cover. I offer a secure, confidential environment so that you can feel safe to explore whatever may be troubling you. I am an integrative and EMDR therapist. This means I am able to tailor the therapy to suit your individual needs.
I believe that understanding, compassion and a non judgemental approach are important values in life, always using these values in my practice. I will work collaboratively with you, at your pace.
I specialise in working with anxiety, trauma and depression and I have been able to help clients gain emotional and physical well being.

Practice description
I offer short-term, fixed-term or long- term, face to face (in a COVID-19 secure environment) in the centre of Farnham Surrey or if you prefer I can offer online & telephone therapy. My first session
I offer an initial 20- minute telephone or face to face consultation for free where we can discuss your needs and for you to get a feel of how I work. Once you are happy to proceed with working with me we will arrange a suitable day and time to begin working together.
