About me and my therapy practice
I'm an experienced, BACP registered psychotherapist working with adults from my private practice in Chiswick, West London. As an integrative psychotherapist, I am able to draw on a number of schools of therapy, and am particularly influenced by psychodynamic, relational and person centred psychotherapies.
I am committed to offering my clients a confidential, supportive and non-judgemental environment in which to work through whatever is challenging you, at a pace that works for you. You may have a specific issue that you wish to explore, such as a relationship breakdown, recent trauma or bereavement, or there may be something more deeply-rooted that is troubling you.
Painful and difficult feelings, anxiety, or troubled relationships will often have their origins in earlier experiences. Our work together may involve looking at your past and identifying patterns of behaviour that are keeping you stuck, and no longer serving you in the present.
I don't offer advice, rather a space for you to think about where you are in your life, and where you would like to be. On occasion I may challenge you, but will always strive to support you as we work towards you achieving greater insight, personal understanding and peace of mind.
Practice description
I undertook 6 years of training at The Minster Centre, recognised as one of the UK's leading psychotherapy training institutions. I have a Masters in Psychotherapy (accredited by Middlesex University), and an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling.
I have worked in private practice for several years, as well as within the charitable sector, including a bereavement counselling service.
I see individual, adult clients from my rooms in Chiswick, West London, or online. I offer both day time and evening sessions.
I have worked with a wide variety of issues over the years from an equally broad range of clients, so whilst the below list is not exhaustive, it aims to provide you with some of the issues that I work with most frequently:
- Anxiety and worry
- Anger and conflict
- Bereavement and loss
- Boarding school experiences
- Childhood abuse
- Depression and low mood
- Disordered eating and body image
- Divorce and separation
- Family relationships, including estrangement and siblings
- Feeling overwhelmed and experiencing panic
- Low self-esteem and not feeling good enough
- Neurodiversity including ADHD and autism
- Parenting issues
- PTSD and trauma
- Racism and othering
- Relationships and dating

- Work and career: managing stress and pressure
I am a LGBTQI+ affirming therapist and have worked with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds, always striving to be deeply respectful of difference.
