About me and my therapy practice
Hello. I am here to provide support, confidentiality, compassion, understanding and offer a sense of hope when you are struggling with issues. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgemental space and enable you to feel more empowered when tackling the things life has thrown at you.
It may be anxiety, low mood, loss, low self-esteem, family/work/relationship issues, or some other issue which may have become overwhelming and be impacting your happiness or contentment. Lets work together to help you gain understanding of what is happening, tackle difficult feelings, develop the skills to cope and move forward with more joy and confidence.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist (Pg.Cert, Pg. Dip, MSc, MBACP) and work within the BACP'S ethical guidelines. I am passionate about the positive impact counselling can have and the believe that all my clients can improve their lives and relationships, given the right support.
Practice description
I am currently working remotely via Zoom, MS teams or telephone. I work in an integrative way which incorporates person-centred therapy (talking therapy), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and attachment theory. This will be tailored to suit your needs.
Sessions are 50 mins in length and we can work on a short term or long term basis. I have worked with clients experiencing bereavement, trauma, anxiety, low mood and depression, self harm/injury, abuse, life changes, intrusive thoughts, low self esteem or confidence, family issues, relationship issues, OCD, addiction, attachment issues, phobias, personality disorders , bi-polar disorder, autism, Asperger's and ADHD.
My first session
The first session will be roughly half an hour long and is at a reduced rate of £20. This can be to assess any issues you have, work out where you are at and decide together if I can provide the right support for you. This session is helpful for developing an idea of what you want from therapy and any goals you may have. It can be daunting to share issues with a stranger and hopefully this session will help break the ice and make you feel comfortable working with me. Following sessions can the be arranged to suit your needs and will be £50 per session.
Please call, text or email and if I am unavailable I will respond as soon as possible.
Thank-you for spending time to take a look :-)
