About me and my therapy practice
Seeking counselling can feel like a big decision which may be daunting. However, once you have started the process, counselling gives you time to think, reflect and will enable you to process difficulties you have been facing.
Many people experience complications in the present that have roots in their past. Together we can discover repeating patterns that are causing you difficulties and preventing you from moving forwards. These realisations can be explored, enabling positive change. I combine different therapeutic techniques and approaches according to the client’s needs and offer long and short-term therapy.
As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, my focus is to place the emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as the primary agent for change. I aim to be empathic, respectful and non-judgmental and through this stance, I hope to make clients feel safe, supported and able to explore their issues openly.
I have worked with adults and young people (18+) experiencing a variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, grief, self-harm, bullying, low mood and loneliness.
I have worked at various settings such as GP practices, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Mind and Hampstead Counselling Service and am now in private practice.
