About me and my therapy practice

For so many of us, life can be challenging. You might feel anxious, depressed, frustrated, stuck, alone, angry, stressed, sad, or many of these at once, and I understand that it can sometimes be difficult opening up to family or friends.

Whatever is going on for you, I aim to provide a safe space where we can talk through what’s on your mind. My role is to support you in working through your difficulties, helping you to strengthen and grow your coping mechanisms. Our work together can enable you to lead a more fulfilling life, and ultimately improve your relationship with yourself and others.

My approach uses the Clarkson five-relational model as the basis of our work together, putting the emphasis on our relationship as a way to help explore your difficulties in a collaborative way.

My first session

Because finding the right therapist is important, I offer a free initial 20-minute consultation so that we can discuss your needs, and for us to decide whether we'd like to work together.

If we agree to move forward with sessions together, during our next session we will set up the contract and I will carry out a detailed assessment.
